What a year it’s been for Crawford Reeves.

The Eastside High senior capped a memorable season last week by being selected a first-team Rolex Junior All-American by the American Junior Golf Association.

Reeves won his first two AJGA titles this season to accompany his second Blade Junior Classic title. He also qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship in August and ended the season ranked No. 10 in the AJGA Polo Golf Rankings.

Reeves earned his first national title when he shared medalist honors at the Golf World/Medicus Preseason Junior at Furman University in April.

The next month, he won the Scott Robertson Memorial in Roanoke, Va., outright.

“This was my best season yet. It was very consistent,” Reeves said. “Winning the (Memorial) was the turning point in my season. Knowing that I could go to a national tournament and compete was a big confidence boost for me. That changed my mindset for the rest of the year.”

Reeves will be eligible to compete in AJGA events next year until he enrolls at Clemson University next fall.

Product Based Website Aims To Improve Golf Swing Mechanics

Source: WebWire

The Golf Swing Help Site recently announced a new endorsement, the Dual Hinge Medicus 5 Iron Golf Swing Trainer, aimed at greatly improving the golf swing mechanics of its clients.
Nishal Singh, affiliate manager of the Golf Swing Help Site and experienced golfer, is excited about the wide range of products recommend on his site. He knows firsthand that the Medicus line of trainers are effective as his own handicaps were cut in half after using the Medicus golf clubs, particularly the Dual Hinge Medicus 5 Iron Golf Swing Trainer.

Ben Hogan once explained the reason for his slow motion practice swings by saying, “At this pace I can control the golf club and everything in my swing. Whenever I’m working on something I always do it in slow motion. That way I can monitor what I am doing.”
Likewise those using the Dual Hinge Medicus 5 Iron Golf Swing Trainer will quickly learn that it requires the golfer to move extremely slowly in order to identify the golf swing mechanics that need improvement. Any issue in tempo or plane will result in the club breaking, forcing the golfer to take the time to identify what aspect of the golf swing mechanics need improvement. With practice and patience the Dual Hinge Medicus 5 Iron Golf Swing Trainer can dramatically improve the golf swing.

Golf Advertisers at PGA Championship: TheBigPutt and Medicus the only two that got it right

Written by: Search Fuel

A quick glance to the right revealed ads from ticket broker StubHub, and the all-you-need-to-know golf buzz site, Golf Observer. “People are starting to get smart with their search strategies,” I thought. At that point, I went into a search frenzy on Google.

“Golf” yielded paid ads, but nothing specific to the PGA or BMW Championship. “PGA Golf” yielded a few sites you’ve likely never heard of, but again, nothing tied to the Championship. “Phil Mickelson,” “PGA Tour” – nothing. Not even an ad. Even “Bellerive Country Club,” site of the Championship. Nothing. Discouraged and still on Google, I searched for the top golfers on the leaderboard as they entered Sunday’s final round, a successful search strategy I’ve seen our search strategists employ for a network around a major tennis tournament. Camillo Villegas, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim. Looks like TheBigPutt and Medicus (DriveTheMax.com) were the only two companies that got it right and leveraged their affiliation with Furyk and Villegas.
